WHAT IS AN RCC, CCC, RSW, RTC? All these acronyms are important for you to know. It may be relevant to your extended health program. But also, counselling is NOT regulated in the province of BC, so you want to be sure that the counsellor you are seeing has actual credentials, has practicum experience, and has had a supervised practicum of at least 200 hours. Additionally, most associations require continuing education for counsellors to stay relevant in theory and psychoeducation training.

HOW LONG ARE SESSIONS? *Sessions are 50 minutes in length. 10 minutes are reserved for notetaking.
CAN I HAVE A PHONE CONSULTATION? Of course you can. Most counsellors offer a free phone consultation. It is important to feel that the counsellor is a good fit for you. A phone consultation can help you and the counsellor determine if they are the best choice for what you need.
CAN I BOOK ONLINE? Yes, you can. Just click on the "BOOK NOW" button under the CONTACt tab. WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT? Payment for sessions can be made by e-transfer or cash. ***Payment is required minimum 24 hours PRIOR to your session.***
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? Since appointments are reserved for you, the regular fee applies to appointments that are not cancelled 24 hours in advance. The only exception to this is the event of an emergency. If this is the case, please contact me as soon as possible. Charges for missed appointments cannot be submitted for health insurance reimbursement. .
