Healthy, loving relationships are the foundations for connection and meaning in our lives. The ability to have thriving, respectful relationships, amidst difficult times or challenges, is possible. While there are many layers to relationships and reasons for difficult times, what we think we know about our relationship, or the other person, is often the obstacle. The ability to truly listen to others is a skill that has to be practiced and developed. At our basic human core, each one of us has a need to be seen and heard and this piece of communication is a key part of relationships that can be missing. I am dedicated to listening and helping individuals and families enhance their relationships through listening, seeing, and validating. I am effective at highlighting repeated patterns that cause stress in relationships, identifying patterns of emotions and feelings in each person, and offering practical tools that can be implemented immediately.
