Andrew Huberman does a thorough job explaining multiple aspects related to ADHD: the prefrontal cortex, attention, stimulant medications that are used to treat ADHD (ie. various types of stimulant medications, risks, benefits, dopamine, norephinpehrine), as well as many others.
He has many videos that explore various ADHD topics.

Hi lovely humans!
I am curious...
Are you interested in a monthly group?
It would be slightly different from a workshop style:
I would share information & resources about a topic each month
parents have time to talk, share their experiences, offer support to other parents

As always - take what works for you and leave the rest!
We know it isn't possible to debrief every time big emotions come
up for our kids. Importantly, you need to be relaxed and in a state to be present. And , if you are standing in line at the grocery store, it likely isn't the environment that will support debriefing emotions! You know your child best and therefore, you know when is a good time to facilitate some reflection and awareness building.
As soon as possible, after your child has returned to a relaxed state, using a few questions or prompts, or activities can help them work through the emotions they just experienced, and is helpful for kids of all ages for a few reasons:
It is timely = it will get remembered as part of the event.

We have established routines in place that have been very helpful. However, when we try to make changes to these routines, we find ourselves at a standstill. She is very attached to the current routine and struggles with any kind of change. What are some strategies we can use to successfully introduce and substitute new routines while minimizing resistance and making the transition as smooth as possible?
