Here's what I believe.

I believe everyone deserves compassionate care during their reproductive and perinatal journey. Care that respects each person’s story, choices, and the fullness of their experience.

The perinatal period is transformative, and I trust in people’s natural resilience and ability to grow. Feeling anxious, sad, or uncertain during pregnancy, postpartum, or early parenthood is not a failure. These feelings are often understandable responses to big transitions, shifting identities, and the demands of caring for yourself and your family.

I also believe that our connections and attachments shape how we experience the world. When we nurture these relationships we strengthen our sense of safety and belonging. This healing can ripple outward into our families and communities.

Why I Care.

I care because early and evidence-based support during the perinatal period can make a lasting difference in people’s lives. My work in New Zealand deepened my understanding of how holistic, culturally safe, and community-based care can support healing and resilience. I’m passionate about integrating these values into perinatal and reproductive mental health services in British Columbia. I care because birthing people deserve to feel seen, supported, and empowered through every stage of their journey.

My Education & Credentials.

I am a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the British Columbia College of Social Workers (Registration #16305). I hold an Advanced Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia, specializing in Health and Social Care.  During my MSW, I completed a practicum with Te Whatu Ora: Taranaki Perinatal Mental Health and Maternity team in Aotearoa New Zealand. This experience shaped my approach to trauma-informed, culturally safe, and community-centered care, which I now bring to my work in British Columbia.

Why People Work With Me

Clients work with me because I see them as whole people, recognizing both their challenges and their strengths. I provide trauma-informed & evidence-based care to explore experiences and deepen self-compassion.

I am committed to being an ally of Indigenous, Métis, and Inuit communities, honoring Truth and Reconciliation and acknowledging the ongoing impacts of settler colonial violence on birth, culture, and connection to land. I also stand as an LGBTQ2S+ ally, supporting birthing individuals and families in living authentically.

My goal is to guide people through perinatal and reproductive experiences with confidence, clarity, hope and connection within themselves and their families.
