Here's what I believe.

I believe everyone’s journey is unique and deserves to be approached with empathy, compassion, and respect. We naturally seek understanding and connection amidst life's uncertainties while navigating the ongoing interplay of thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships that make up the human experience. This includes the sensations that come from joy and sorrow, relationships, and the pursuit of meaning in our lives. We all desire to be heard, understood, and accepted by those around us.

Why I Care.

As a therapist, witnessing the transformative power of human resilience and the capacity for growth inherent in everyone inspires me. I am deeply moved by peoples’ courage and vulnerability as they navigate their unique journeys towards healing and self-discovery along with the willingness to confront challenges, explore their innermost thoughts and emotions, and embrace change. Moreover, I am motivated by the profound connections forged in the therapeutic relationship, where empathy, understanding, and acceptance serve as catalysts for profound personal growth.

Education & Credentials.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and have worked in a variety of roles focused on providing support to those with diverse abilities and their families including supporting clients with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and complex behaviour needs.

I am a registered student member with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), and a Yorkville University graduate (awaiting certification) for Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
