Here's what I believe.

I believe that every person carries a story shaped by their experiences, relationships, culture, and environment. These stories influence how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we navigate the world—often in ways we may not fully understand at first, but with gentle exploration, we can deepen our understanding of how and why we navigate the world the way we do.
Healing begins when we begin to feel safe. Our struggles are not signs of weakness; they are invitations to slow down, listen, and reconnect with the parts of ourselves that long for care, understanding, and hope.
I believe that change is possible at any stage of life. As long as we are alive, there is hope to heal and grow. With compassionate support, practical tools, and a space free of judgment, people can reconnect with their strengths, rediscover their voice, and move forward with clarity, resilience, and purpose.
Why I Care.
I have always had a heart that is drawn to a person when they are going through seasons of pain, uncertainty, or transition. I am deeply inspired to pull out the unrealized strength that people have that gives them the ability to show up for themselves, even when life feels overwhelming. I am driven to create a space where people know that they are seen and feel safe.
With over a decade of experience supporting children, youth, adults, couples, and families, I have walked alongside individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and significant life transitions. My professional background includes work in acquired brain injury, child and family services, and clinical counselling, where I’ve supported individuals with complex emotional and relational needs. I am also
honoured that I was able to walk work extensively with Indigenous families.
Through both my professional journey and lived experience, I have learned that healing is not only about “fixing” what is broken, but about gaining a deeper understanding about what has shaped us – and then having the autonomy and strength to choose how we want to move forward. I consider it a privilege to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow at their own pace.
My approach to therapy is attachment- based, trauma-informed, culturally safe and responsive, family and community centred and deeply collaborative. I strive to offer a calm, welcoming, and supportive environment where clients feel safe enough to explore, reflect, and create meaningful changes in their lives.
My Education & Credentials.
I am a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the British Columbia College of Social
Workers (Registration # 16986). I am also Registered to Practice Virtually with the Ontario

Advanced Master of Social Work from the University of British Columbia, specializing in
Children and Families. During my MSW, I completed a practicum as a Child and Youth Mental
Health Clinician. This experience shaped my approach to provide trauma-informed, culturally
safe, and community-centred care.

I offer a space that feels safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental. I take time to understand the whole person, not
just the challenges they are facing, but the strengths they already carry. I listen not only with my ears, but with my eyes and my heart. People often choose to work with me because I smile.

People work with me because I get what it means to have lived experiences as a person of Color and a first-generation immigrant raised with cultural norms that are different from this land. People choose to work with me because I am a mother who has experienced loss and parented a youth who identifies as neurodivergent.
I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools that support real-life change. My approach is gentle yet intentional, grounded in empathy, curiosity, encouragement, and respect for each individual’s values and lived experience.
Therapy is not about having all the answers, it is about discovering what feels true, meaningful, and sustainable for you. Together, we focus on building resilience, fostering self- compassion, and creating a path forward that aligns with who you are and who you want to become. Showing up for therapy takes courage and bravery. I meet that courage and bravery with presence, warmth, and therapeutic tools that enable hope so that I can alongside you as
you move toward healing, clarity, and renewed strength.
